My dog missed Simparica. Can I double up or give the next dose?

Giulio is on simparica and missed his monthly dose for September. Is it ok to double up the dose or should we just give him his regular dose for October? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

Hi there. Just give him the regular dose, giving two doses at once isn't safe and since you are giving him his regular dose he'll be covered for fleas/ticks/mites for 35 days. I hope that helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
