My dog ate a Domperidone pill. Is he okay? What about his breakfast?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 60 lbs

Rumple is 58lbs and he just ate one of my Domperidone pills!! Is that going to harm him? He didn’t eat very much at breakfast, but he did finish his dinner throughout the night. Should I leave his breakfast out or take it away? I don’t know how it could interact with him?!

One pill of this medication will not cause Rumple any side effects, this medication is used sometimes for dogs as well and the dosage given to a dog his size is higher than what he ingested, he should be fine.
