My dog's tail looks weird after bath, but he's acting normal?

Why does my dogs tail look like this? I gave him a bath last Sunday and since Monday this is how it’s look. He has no problems laying down, sitting, pooping, peeing, eating or playing. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 11 years and 8 months old | 20 lbs

It's possible he has some sensitivity or discomfort. It could be associated with the bath or completely unrelated. Monitor him for lethargy, restless or sensitivity around his back end. Look him over for obvious signs or injury such as bruising or swelling. If you notice anything or if he develops any of these symptoms, have him examined by your veterinarian.
