Why does my senior cat have grayish bubble-like growths on his eyes?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | neutered | 14 years and 4 months old | 6 lbs

Hello, my Himalayan cat is almost 15yrs old. He recently got these grayish bubble like growths on each eye. They don’t seem to bother him, doesn’t itch or rub them. I don’t notice them growing in size since they first appeared. Please advise. Thank you!

You may be seeing corneal edema or lipid deposits in Marley's eyes, or he may have glaucoma or a corneal ulcer. Posting a picture along with your question might help us narrow down what might be causing this. Even though they don't seem to bother him a growth on the eye is concerning and ultimately I think it would be a good idea to have your veterinarian examine him.
