Pet's info: Dog | Belgian Malinois | Male | neutered | 5 months and 26 days old | 50 lbs
My dog has ringworm, ive had ringworm a long time ago and my mom recently had it. I know what ringworm looks like and i really dont want to pay $300 at a vet just for them to run a test on the skin and give me an oitment. Im not trying to be rude but is there any ointments that i can get to get rid of it. I dont have alot of money to take him to the vet for this, he just got neutered, chipped, shots, and heartworm prevention and flea prevention. I just dont have the money so any tips

Unfortunately there are several skin diseases in dogs that can look just like ringworm - bacterial skin infections causing epidermal collarettes would be most common. Your best course of action would be to have your vet examine Kapano since oral medication is often required for ringworm - even though there is a single lesion it may be elsewhere in his fur and contamination of the environment can cause reinfection. I know some people and veterinarians will use over the counter creams containing miconazole, but they often are not very effective. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian.
