My dog has episodes where she doesn't recognize me. Is it epilepsy?

My dog Mia (American Bulldog/Boxer) is almost 2. She is deaf and has always had some separation anxiety but the last couple months she seems to be having really bad episodes where she won’t acknowledge us and doesn’t seem to recognize us. These episodes can last from an hour to a day depending on how bad it is. I’m starting to wonder, could this also be a form of epilepsy with partial seizure activity?

It's possible. Or the after-effects of a seizure. I would have Mia examined by a vet. Epilepsy is certainly possible at her age. If you can get a video of an episode, it might help the vet make a diagnosis.
