Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | 3 months and 9 days old | 7.4 lbs
I adopted Beast from humane society on 9/19 they said he had respiratory infection and were giving him doxycycline 20 mg since 9/14 he is having bad coughing fits mainly at night, continuously sneezing, barely eating and sleeping all day. I took him to the vet for a wellness checkup which the vet said was healthy but is not getting better and another dog in my property started having coughing fits last night and she has swollen eye. Do I need to take them to get in worried.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Beast. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian as the respiratory tract infection does not seem to be resolving. It seems as though it has now been spread to your other dog as well. I would ask about the possibility of using a different antibiotic as doxycycline can damage the teeth in young puppies. In the meantime, keep him quiet to allow his body to rest. Encourage him to eat and drink as normally as possible. Good luck!
