Is my husky happy in an apartment with crate training and walks?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 7 months and 23 days old | 52 lbs

Hello my dog is husky, she eats and drinks, I walk her at least 4 times a day but we live in an apartment. I have class in the morning and I don’t trust her 100% so I put her in her cage (which is also her bed she loves it). But I worry I’m not making her happy. I walk her, I feed her twice a day, and stay with her all the time as long as I’m not in class.. should I be worried? Any advice?

I think that sounds fine. Crate training is healthy and creates a safe environment for dogs when we are away from the house. As long as she gets plenty of exercise and play time when you are home, she should be perfectly happy!
