Dog vomited after worm medicine. Is it normal? Should I re-dose?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 15 days old

My dog has worms and he threw up right after i gave him the medication, is that normal? Im not sure if i should give it to him again or if it had already absorbed?

Hello, sorry to hear about Milo. make sure you are giving him the granules with food. Dogs with worms may have occasional vomiting as well. It would be hard to tell from this point if Milo's medication had enough time to reach the worms. This medication kills worms in the intestines but only small amount get absorbed. Therefore, it would be safest to administer an extra day of this medication with food, then to give an extra dose tonight. However, you should consult with your primary care veterinarian and see if they too recommend administering an extra day of this medication. Hope this helps and best of luck.
