Pet's info: Cat | Siberian | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 18 lbs
My 1 year old siberian cat's ears are very warm, as is his belly. His nose is also very wet. He doesn't drink much water and we are worried that dehydration might be the cause as that's what we read can happen. He is very healthy but I am worried of what this could be.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Oliver. If he is eating normally, then he is likely drinking enough to meet his needs. Many cats will drink at night. If he eats canned food, then he will not drink as much water due to the high moisture content of the diet. However, if his appetite is decreased and he is lethargic or hiding, then I recommend that he sees his veterinarian. He will have a thorough examination performed and his hydration status assesses. I hope this information helps!
