Why is my 5-month-old female kitten suddenly meowing and rolling?

My kittens about 5-6months old and she's just started meowing and rolling around all over the floors she normally doesn't do this any ideas Why?

Hello. This is common behavior for a female cat that is in heat. Although 5-6 months is young, she is old enough to be starting her first heat cycle. You can have your veterinarian examine her to make sure and discuss spaying her if that is your wish.

    These behavioral changes are typical of a female cat in heat. If Katniss is otherwise eating, drinking and acting normally, I would not be overly concerned. If you are not planning on breeding her, discuss spaying her with your vet.
