Is it okay for my cat to just eat chicken based meals? She currently eats whole hearted dry and wet food. Up to 1 cup of dry per day, and one can every other day. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 8 lbs

As long as it's a cat food (and not a home cooked diet or dog food) that's perfectly fine. Cats need an amino acid called taurine that other animals don't need to eat directly, so it's very important that they are on a cat food.
