My cat has neck sores from a harness. What can I safely use?

My cat has soars on her neck where I had a harness on her. I took off the harness and am wondering what can I put on the soars that's safe? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 7 years and 7 months old | 7 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If this picture is representative of the actual lesion, I would not proceed with any therapy as it will likely heal on its own. However, it is difficult to know for sure without evaluating her and just looking at a picture. I would continue to monitor the area and see if it resolves on its own. If it does not or it worsens, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
