My cat stopped meowing, but seems fine. Can cats lose their voice?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 8 lbs

For a few days I’ve noticed that Charles isn’t moewing. He make the sound if he was seeing a bird. He’s healthy; eating, playing and sleeping perfectly fine. Can cats loses lose thier voice or is it something else.

Yes, they can. Sometimes it can be temporary, but othertimes it can be a sign of a medical problem. Hopefully since he is so young, its nothing thats major or concerning, BUT, i wouls recommend an exam to be sure. They will do full exam of mouth, ears, throat, chest and heart and guide you from there.
