Dog crying in pain and bleeding from anus when pooping. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Havanese | Male | neutered | 4 years and 6 months old

my dog makes howling noises like he's in pain when he poops and you can clearly see blood in his anus but there is no blood in his stool. besides crying out in pain when he poops, his behaviour hasnt changed. should i be concerned or wait it out?

Your dog may have an injury in his anus or rectum, or a polyp or he may have an impacted anal gland. I strongly recommend you take him to your veterinarian as an impacted or infected anal gland is very painful and needs to be evacuated, or lanced and flushed. Please take Loki to a veterinarian ASAP.
