Is thin lip hair and visible skin normal for my Shih Tzu puppy?

i have a 5 month old shihzu and the hairs around her upper and lower lip are quite less and i could literally see her skin in between her hairs.also the hairs around here are very thin as compared to the other parts of her body. is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | 5 months and 10 days old | 7 lbs

The hair around the mouth and lips is usually not as dense as on other parts of the body, but it looks patchy, sparse, or if the skin looks irritated or different in some way, then I would get her checked by the vet. If you've recently changed bowls that she east or drinks from, she could be allergic to them, especially if they're plastic.
