My dog ate chocolate, was treated. Why isn't he drinking water?

What are the long term effects of dark chocolate poisoning in a 10lb. Dog? He ate about an ounce and a half. He received fluids and charcoal at about 40 hours later. It's been 3 days and he won't drink water but is eating, pooping, and peeing. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 10.4 lbs

There typically aren't any long term effects from dark chocolate poisoning when treatment is received promptly, but it does make a dog very sick. You did absolutely the right thing by having Mad Max seen by a vet. Depending on the amount of fluids he received, he may not need to drink just yet because the fluids hydrated him. He's peeing, which is a good sign. I would continue to watch him, and if he still isn't drinking water in another 24 hours, then I would have him checked out by a vet.
