Is MalAcetic ear cleaner good for my basset puppy's dirty, smelly ears?

My basset pup has problems with her right ear. She has residue when I clean it. It looks like dirt. It's not black like mites, but it does smell a little. I get paid next week and I was wondering if MalAcetic is a good product to use for bassets and their ears. Pet's info: Dog | Basset Hound | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 16 days old | 20 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The MalAcetic Otic solution is very good as an ear cleanser so you can use for this. I would recommend you clean it twice weekly for now. However, if they continue to look dirty after using it consistently, it would be better to have her evaluated by a veterinarian as she may have an ear infection. Hopefully it resolves.
