My dog has a bleeding bump that doesn't hurt. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 90 lbs

My dog had a bump the size of a raspberry on his leg that won't stop bleeding. It doesn't seem to hurt him.

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Moco! Due to his age, the appearance and the location it looks like a histiocytoma. Which is a benign mass in young dogs. They tend to resolve on their own in a few months but sometimes if they ulcerate, grow rapidly, become infected or bleed we recommend removing them. Another possibility is a mast cell tumor.
