My reptile's tunnels collapsed. Why won't she dig after I fixed them?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Reptile | Bearded Dragon | Female | unspayed | 7 years and 1 month old

Lizzie dig yesterday and her tunnels she made Collapsed on top of her. So I patted the dirt down again to see if that would help but now she won’t dig. Should I have left the tunnels alone? How can I get her to start digging again?

She will start to dig again on her own. There's nothing you can do to make her dig and lay. All you can do is confirm proper temps and humidity and make sure the substrate is packable enough so it doesn't collapse.
