Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 40 lbs
My dog is a very sweet timid rescue. We got her at 7 months and she is now a year. The first couple days we had her she just hid in a corner terrified. She has acclimated extremely well, except she hasn’t quite bonded with my son. He goes to his Dad’s 2 days a week and during that time it’s like she almost forgets him. She barks at him the whole first day even though she barely barks in general. Is there some way I could help them bond more?

I recommend he take over the walking and give her treats so she looks forward to being with him. Don’t have him be too pushy, have him sit with a treat and let her come to him. You may also want to try an anti anxiety supplement like Solliquin. It helped my rescue dog relax in the new household. This may take several months to improve, give them time and as they both grow and mature this behavior should improve.
