My dog's nose was stung or bit, now has a scab. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 60 lbs

Hi, My dog appears to have been bit or stung on the nose by something. There is no stinger and as far as I can tell, no obvious bite marks. The wound swelled up to about the size of a dime on her nose. It has since deflated and there is a scab. At no time did she exhibit any signs of nausea, fatigue, tremors, anxiety, and she has been her normal active self. Beyond applying neo-Predef powder, is there anything else I can do?

It sounds like you are doing everything fine for now! Since Charlotte has been normal and the area is healing, you don't need to do anything to it. I'd just let it be so you don't interrupt the healing process. Best of luck.
