Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 7 years and 3 months old | 27 lbs
My Chiweenie is overweight (31 lbs). The vet says he should be no more than 22-24 lbs. I have been trying to get his weight down for some time, but every time the vet weighs him, he's a little heavier!! I have been trying to increase our walks and decrease his treats and overall amount of food. I have been giving him Beneful weight management dry food. I'm looking for weight loss tips, including dry and wet food. I can't afford anything really expensive as I've been out of work.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I highly recommend that you consider the Science Diet metabolic weight management diet which has proven to result in weight loss. This is something that can help Boscoe achieve weight loss though this should still be combined with regular walks/exercise. Good luck and have a great day!
