Why is my cat skinny, meowing a lot (especially at night) and trembling?

You have an unneutered male cat. I’m sure he wants to go out and find females to mate with. He could have feline leukemia or feline aids from previous fights causing him to be thin. I recommend getting him tested for leukemia and aids and having him neutered. I would also recommend deworming him since intestinal parasites can also cause animals to be very thin.
