Guinea pigs require plenty of fresh water, grass or hay, and pellets. They can have up to 1 cup of vegetables per day, but that doesn't mean they need that much. Romaine lettuce is fine in moderation. This site provides a list of cavy--safe foods and detailed dietary instructions. I hope this helps. http://www.happycavy.com/what-can-guinea-pigs-eat/

Guinea pigs should eat primarily grass hay, a bit of pellets and 1 cup fresh veggies a day. Those are all good but I would change up the variety some. Here are a couple of sites with good GP safe food. Henry will love you for it. http://www.happycavy.com/what-can-guinea-pigs-eat/ https://tricountyhumanesociety.org/pet-tips/critter-tips/139-proper-guinea-pig-diet
