My dog moved during Revolution. Is it safe to give another dose?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 10 years and 6 months old | 14 lbs

While trying to put a dose of revolution on my long-haired Shih Tzu he moved and only a small amount got on his skin the rest emptied out in his hair somewhere can I go ahead and give him a full dose

I would not give him another dose so quickly, since most of it is on him, just not in the location you were aiming for. You can however, safely repeat the Revolution in 2 weeks time, to ensure he is fully covered and protected. If you do happen to notice any fleas in the meantime, you can safely give him a Capstar tablet for emergency flea relief, which can be found at your local pet store.
