There is a product called extend for dogs for hip and pain do you know if it works and is safe. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Male | 15 years and 8 months old | 80 lbs

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! All joint supplements aren't regulated like normal drugs so there is a huge issue with if they even do anything for the pet. A lot of studies of these drugs in the human and veterinary world have shown that the labels do not even match what is in the product. With that being said I would choose a different brand and spend your money on something that actually works. You can buy this product but you will be wasting your money even if it is cheaper.
