Why are new itchy bumps appearing on my dog's legs suddenly?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 8 years and 6 months old | 100 lbs

My dog had two of these a couple days ago and now there are multiple on his legs, what are they?

Hello, sorry to hear about Max. They look like papules or pustules. These are often associated with allergies (environmental or food). Dogs may lick their feet excessively as another sign of allergies. Often, if pets are continuously to scratch, they will need allergy medications and in instances, antibiotics to treat secondary bacterial infections. If you think Max has allergies and is itching constantly, they he should be seen by his veterinarian early next week to determine if he needs medications. Hope this helps and best of luck.
