My dog has a cloudy eye, but feels better. Keep emergency vet appt?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 2 months old | 46 lbs

My dog just started to display a cloudy bluish eye along with fatigue and not coming or responding to me right away. And she wasn't eating either. the last day or so though she's been eating and moving well but the eye situation is still there. Do you think that I should still keep the emergency vet appointment that I made for her? Thank you

I think you are correct in wanting to have Millie seen as soon as possible, as in some cases a sudden change to the eyes as you are describing may be causing pain and could cause permanent vision problems if not addressed right away. Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!
