My dog is crying constantly after surgery on pain meds. How to help?

Pet's info: Dog | Olde English Bulldogge | Female | spayed | 6 years and 3 months old | 70 lbs

My dog had surgery yesterday for a lump removal on her neck, she is eating, drinking, weeing anc she had a pain relief injection yesterday and on metacam now. All last night and today she has been constantly crying, do you have any suggestions to settle her as nothing is really helping :(

Poor Bayley. She just need a bit of time to settle down, follow your vet instruction reading meds and she will be better soon. I would wait till this afternoon and if she continues to be unsettled, not eating and lethargic I would have her re-checked. A stronger, injectable pain killer might be administered by your vet as well, if necessary. Please post again on the forum if you would like to discuss it further. I hope my answer was helpful.
