Why is my spayed husky peeing on the bed? UTI, marking, or anxiety?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | 4 years and 6 months old | 82 lbs

My husky who is spayed and potty trained peed on my bed today while I was asleep, I know it was her because she is the only dog that has access to my bed. The spot had little to no odor. I am curious as to what could cause this could she be marking? There has been no colored urine when she goes outside. My fiance thought maybe it was because she took her favorite ball away earlier in the day. My husky does get anxious when my fiancee sits on the bed with us because she is super bonded with me.

It is possible that Piper is the dog that urinated on your bed. I would recommend taking her to the vet and making sure she does not have a urinary tract infection before discussing behavioral urination. Urinary tract infections can make dogs drink more water but also commonly they will urinate in the house or an abnormal location. If she does not have a urinary tract infection than it is important to start looking at behavioral reasons
