My active kittens aren't eating much. Should I be worried about them?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 4 months and 22 days old | 10 lbs

I don't think my kittens eat enough food that they should be eating. They seem and look fine and healthy- always running around but I'm still a bit concerned.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is not possible to know if they appear to be healthy without at least an examination. If you are concerned that they should be eating more or perhaps about their general well-being, I would highly recommend you consider having them evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment. The fact that they are running around is an encouraging sign that they are doing well. Good luck and have a great day!
