My dog ate a tampon and is throwing up. What should I do now?

My dog ate a tampon about a day ago and she hasnt passed it but now she’s throwing up the last time she did this it just passed normally I fed her a lot of extra food in order to try to get it to pass quickly out but I’m not sure if that what has made her puke. Pet's info: Dog | Puggle | Female | spayed | 10 years old | 29 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bella! Tampons are tough! I have had to do surgery to remove them before. If Bella is vomiting, lethargic and not eating then I would worry that the tampon is stuck. I would recommend having her seen. Sadly just because she was lucky enough to pass one before doesn’t mean it will this time. I wish you the best!
