My dog is 50 lbs, but his breed should be 70. Is he underweight?

Pet's info: Dog | Dutch Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 50 lbs

Hi I'm just curious about my dogs weight. Online when I search about the breed, every website tells me that they should be about 70 pounds full grown but he is only 50...Is this normal or is it his food or lack of exercise?

He does appear a bit light for the breed. Some German Shepherds stay small. However, I suggest you have him examined by your veterinarian who can then tell you whether he is too thin, or normal for his size (he is not fully grown yet), needs more muscling or needs better food for development. THis is only possible with a hands-on exam.
