Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years old | 161 lbs
My dog ate a dead bird 3.5 days ago. She hasn’t vomited or had diarrhea, she hasn’t lost her appetite or drank an excessive amount of water. She also hasn’t passed an part of the bird yet. She looks to be in good health. Her bowl movement have been normal, except for this morning. She had a small amount of diarrhea with a little jel. I have been feeding her bland food for the past 3 days. Should I have seen it already? Is it normal to take this long? Is this a sign that she cannot pass the bird?

At this point if leia is acting normal I would not be concerned. The bird will get digested in the stomach and small intestine and it is possible you will never see any of the material pass. I would only get concerned if Leia starts having diarrhea and vomiting. If this occurs a vet visit is best for an x-ray to look for a blockage. hope that helps
