Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 70 lbs
I have 19 months old female Labrador. Recently her eyes have started watering slightly. I have observed it happens mostly when she eats. I have checked she doesn't have any cavity, so couldn't be toothache. Kindly suggest what to do?

There could be swelling pressing on the nasolacrimal ducts which hinders tear fluid in draining via the ducts. This can happen due to tooth root abscesses or other dental problems. There is also a possibility that the nasolacrimal ducts are obstructed and need flushing. As long as the fluid is clear and no eye infection is present, it is not something I would worry about too much, however have the tear ducts and teeth checked next time you take Bailey to a veterinarian for vaccinations or a check-up.
