Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 14 years and 6 months old | 170 lbs
My 14 year old golden retriever has been having these sort of mini convulsions/seizures. They're barely noticeable but from what I've observed, they generally happen in sets and last just a few seconds. My other dog have also been sniffing her a lot (more than usual) and I'm not sure if maybe she can smell an infection or something? Should I be worried or take her in for an examination?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Skittle! You should take her in. I would try to video tape an episode on your phone for the Vet to see. She needs an exam and blood work. I worry they are focal seizures. Common causes of focal seizures in a geriatric Golden are: low blood sugar from a tumor, metabolic conditions like liver or kidney failure or a brain tumor. I wish Skittle the best!
