My 3-month-old GSD puppy won't potty outside. How do I train him?

I have a 3 month old GSD for about a month and i haven't taken him outside as adviced by the vet. Today when i took him out he did not do his business outside because of his habit to do at home. How can i make him do it outside? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male

This generally doesn't take long, take him out to the same place when you expect he needs to go (after sleeping /playing /eating etc) or any time you notice him going to his indoor spot. Praise him for going in the right place and then give him treats/play ball etc as a reward. Do not punish indoor accidents and if he is used to training pads or newspaper move these outside the door if possible
