Why is my pregnant Lab breathing fast through her nose? Is it normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 30 lbs

My dog is probably pregnant . I think she is but I wanted to know if its normal for my lab to be breathing through her nose fast ? Is it normal for dogs that are preg ? Because she has been breathing fast for a while but she seems fine it goes away and sometimes shes breathing fast

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! No that isn't a normal sign in early pregnancy. I would expect close to birth when the dog is heavy with puppies there can be a change in breathing. If Ash is active, eating/drinking, not lethargic, isn't vomiting or having diarrhea I think she is likely fine. This could all be due to the hot weather if you are experiencing that. If it is cool and this is new then having her examined by your Vet Monday isn't a wrong thing to do. Good luck!
