Will Interceptor Plus protect my dogs from worms from a puppy?

Question

My sister has a puppy that has repeatedly been treated for worms. We believe he could still have them. Unfortunately, my dogs will be around this puppy this weekend. We aren’t letting them eat/drink from same bowls or go to the bathroom in the same area. Also, both my dogs were given interceptor plus a few days ago. Will this prevent them from picking up worms? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 1 year and 8 months old | 12 lbs

Intestinal parasites are spread in the feces of infected animals so as long as you sister is picking up after her dogs your dogs should be fine.
