Is milky yellow liquid on my male puppy's penis after pee normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 26 days old

My 8 week old lab has a weird liquid on his wiener. Sometimes after he goes pee I'll pick him up and find a milky unclear liquid on his wiener. it just looks like milk with a hint of yellow. could this be a problem?

This is normal. As long as he’s urinating normally, acting normal, eating and drinking, no vomiting or diarrhea, there is no reason for concern. The amount will increase some as he gets older, then decrease following surgery to neuter him. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
