My new puppy is coughing and hacking. What can I do to help now?

Hello, my puppy is almost 7 weeks old. He frequently coughs and hacks. It worries me. He is still very playful and he eats well. This cough appeared to start shortly after we brought him home last week. The breeder thought that it might be because he went from being outdoors 24/7 to being in an air-conditioned house all of the time. Other than the coughing, he seems healthy overall, he's very playful and he eats and drinks alright. He has a vet appointment Tuesday. What can I do to help him now? Thank you for submitting your question regarding Kano. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian as I am concerned that he has an upper respiratory tract infection. Since the coughing has not resolved on it's own, he may require a medication. In the meantime, encourage him to continue to eat and drink. Keep him home to allow him and to rest and as he may be contagious to other dogs. I hope this information helps!
