My dog vomited once, now lethargic. Should I be concerned?

My dog vomited last night, only the once. Ate his food as normal this morning but he’s been sleeping on and off all day. He’s a 1 year old lab. Should I be worried? (We’re new dog owners)

If he's only vomited once and seems to be returning to normal, I would just keep an eye on him. You can pick up his food and offer a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken to help settle any minor GI upset. If he doesn't return fully to normal after another day or so, or if his symptoms return or worsen, having a vet take a look in person is best.
