Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 70 lbs

I hav a lab-leo. He is suffering from tick fever-ehrlichia. The vet has tried all the possible medications and treatments but he is not responding to any of them. The infection is effecting all his organs- kidney, liver, digestive system, intestine. He hasn't eaten anything since a week. He has become too weak to even lift his head up. He excreted black stool this morning. He has a bruise (reddish skin with swelling )on his stomach . Are there any chances if his survival?

His chances of recovery to an acceptable level of independence are very very small at this stage. I recommend you discuss euthanasia with your family and your vet in order to free him from further discomfort
