My stray cat has yellow eye gunk, won't eat. Vet unavailable.

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

There's a 3 yr old stray tom weighing 3 kgs who's not eating and has a yellow sticky substance in his eye. What can I do to treat him. My vet is available only on Monday. Could you please suggest any treatment or antibiotic for him. I feed him regularly so it won't be a difficult task giving him meds

It is hard to tell by the information above but it is possible that a stray cats has an upper respiratory infection or infection in its eyes. I would try to find a vet sooner so antibiotics can be started if needed. In the mean time I would recommend keeping the cat in safe /warm area with plenty of food and water. hope he feels better
