Why is my 6-month-old guinea pig doing a strange bunny hop walk?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 6 days old | 2 lbs

Hi, my 6 month old guinea pig has been doing some kind of strange walk baisically a bunny hop but still moving his front legs like he is walking normally, he hasn’t had a fall or injury or anything but I’m worried he may have something serious wrong with him, please help me.

George is very cute. If he is walking abnormal it is possible he had some type of trauma in her enclosure. I have seen guinea pigs hurt themselves on toys and different things in the cage. I would recommend taking him to a vet for a good physical exam. IT is important to make sure nothing is broken or infected which might cause this type of walking hope that helps
