My dog is shaking and hiding after vacation. Is it separation anxiety?

we went on a cruise for a week and left my dog with my aunt. they said during the day she was fine but at night she cried. we left her for a week before. the day after we got her back she now lays under our bed, shakes, and acts very strange. she eats and drinks but only if we give it to her. she never wants to play or cuddle or anything. she’s only 3. it’s been about 4 days since we got back. please help i do not know what else to do and have no answers except possible separation anxiety. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 16 lbs

Hi. Poor Colby. It definitely sounds like something is wrong, she may not feel well, have pain somewhere, not reacting to stress well, and much more. I'd get her checked out tomorrow. They will do an exam make sure everything is ok on outside. I would have them check her anal glands as well. Sometimes when that are full, it can make them act very odd. If the exam and anal glands are normal, then lab work and x-rays would be next, hope she feels better soon.
