Found a sweet stray cat, but I'm allergic and have dogs. What should I do?

I found this cat in a house I was hired to fix so it could be rented out, and I’m fairly certain she has been alone and mostly starved for at least a week. What do I do for her? She’s so sweet and loving but I’m allergic and I already have 4 dogs. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed

If you can't keep her and don't know where the owners are (or they abandoned her) it is best to bring her to a local animal shelter for care. They can check for any microchips there (in case she was left behind on accident), provide any medical care as needed, and get her eating and drinking and healthy enough for adoption or to be returned to her original owners.
