Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Female | spayed | 5 years and 1 month old | 10 lbs

Hi there. Just spoken to someone regarding my indoor Maine Coon Cat. She has a little something on her fur under her chin. It is slightly red an there are black bits there. I have cleaned area twice in last 3 days an black crust bits have returned. She has a bit of hair loss in the area too an there was a bit of blood after wiping the area. It is tender for her when i touch the area. Is this feline acne an do i need to urgently see the vetenerian. Photos now attached. Thankyou in advance.

This does look like it could be feline acne, but it does not look like it is very severe. If you read the article I gave you with your last question, it gives you some ways to treat it. If you think this is too painful for your kitty I suggest you take Tammy to your vet for an exam and an exact diagnosis. Your vet can also prescribe the relevant shampoo or antibiotics. This would not be an emergency or urgent.
