My dog has a lump under his neck skin. What is it and what to do?

He has a knot in neck under his skin what to do with it he doesn't have a fever or anything else that I need to do. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 20 days old
